Treadmill Running...

The weather was nice and sunny this morning but by the time I was ready to run it had clouded over and the wind was blowing so I decided to run on the treadmill.  I added a new element to my run I watched Dancing With the Stars while running.  This was awesome!  My time on the treadmill is always slow, usually about a mile in 17 minutes.  Today, with the distraction, I ran a 15 minute mile!! Yay!

My run today...

2.2 miles in 26 minutes today!  Feels good but I'm a bit disappointed because I really felt like I had pushed myself harder than the last time I ran this route but it took me a minute longer?  Oh well, it's the whole journey that counts!  I AM happy to say I have met one of my goals for the winter.  That goal was to maintain my weight through the winter.  I did it!! I'm no heavier than I was this fall no lighter either but that's okay.

I cut 10 minutes off my time today!  I ran 2.2 miles in 25 minutes!! Nice!

Springtime running!

I ran outside this morning!  Yay for warmer temperatures! I set a pretty fast pace at the beginning but then had to slow down.  That's ok though. I ran 1.7 miles in 20 minutes and walked a 5 minute cool down.  Feels good!

Still here...

Wow, it's been a long time since I've blogged.  I have still been running a couple times a week on the treadmill and am maintaining my weight through the winter which was my goal.  I have also added cross country skiing a couple times a month.  So much fun!!  I really like being able to get outside and enjoy nature.
